The modern design of the TOTEM concept, inspired by the Memphis group’s work on color and shape, expresses a straightforward graphic style that is anything but retro. The frames are aesthetically playful, with subtle, highly drawn shapes. Between sculpture and mobile, the frames of this concept have a playful, whimsical, pop-folk and airy dimension.
All TOTEM frames are made of titanium. Wiry arms wrap around cosmic, playful hinges. These hinges, developed by Anne&Valentin, were implemented by our Japanese manufacturers.
On the arms, like little spools with striped patterns, the playful ornaments are like hair accessories, jewels. The spatulas, hollowed out, contribute to the delicacy of the whole. The wire bridge is refined, streamlined. Smoothness, edginess and vivacity are at the heart of these models that are both poetic and impetuous.
HALONA is a butterfly frame with a very second-degree look, for small and medium faces. Radical in its design, it has plunging lines that make it more cutting-edge fashion line than feline. Its taut ends support the features with energy, but its curves balance the frame for an optimistic expression.
